The School of Data Science (SDS) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-SZ) aims at building a world-class interdisciplinary research and educational center for data science. SDS has over 80 faculty members, many of whom have experience at top-tier universities and significant international impacts in their fields. The school is now inviting extraordinarily qualified candidates to fill multiple tenured or tenure-track positions at all academic ranks.

We especially encourage individuals whose interests and backgrounds are at the intersection of multiple areas to apply. Applicants should hold or expect to obtain a Ph.D. degree in a relevant field. The ability to teach effectively, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels to diverse groups of students, is required.

Qualifications:

• Junior applicants: Must demonstrate clear and high potential to enhance research and educational missions of SDS.
• Senior applicants: Must have a well-established record of research and teaching accomplishments and have demonstrated scientific creativity and leadership with externally funded and highly visible research programs.
