Position Summary:‚ÄØFull-time internationalfaculty position for School Year 2025-2026 teaching English Writing.

About the University:‚ÄØ 

LNU-MSU College of International Business (CIB) is located in Dalian, a coastal cityin northeast China. The city boasts a low cost of living, a mild climate, fresh seafood, and a relaxed atmosphere. The partnership betweenMissouri State University (USA) and Liaoning Normal University (China) was established in June 2000. LNU-MSU CIB offers a two-year AA inGeneral Studies and a four-year BS in General Business, open to both Chinese and international students. 

What sets LNU-MSUapart is its academic structure: while LNU provides and maintains facilities, MSU ensures academic standards equivalent to those at its U.S.campus. All classes are taught in English and follow a U.S.-style university schedule, preparing students for study abroad.

Theprogram in Dalian is formally approved by the governing bodies of both universities - the Ministry of Education in the People's Republic ofChina and the MSU Board of Governors in the United States. Its mission is to foster cultural and educational exchange while strengtheningU.S.-China relations.

About the Job:‚ÄØ

Faculty are approved by Missouri StateUniversity and employed by Liaoning Normal University as consultant lecturers, who work in cooperation with MSU to successfully teach anMSU-West Plains Associate of Arts degree in General Studies. They are not employees of MSU and are expected to fulfill the obligationsdetailed in their contracts from LNU. Full-time faculty teach 15 lecture hours and hold 5 office hours per week. Faculty typically teachfive sections of a single course. Interaction with students outside the classroom is encouraged. This position will require relocation toDalian, China. All instruction is conducted in English, so familiarity with the China language is not required. 

Compensation: 

  • Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience 
  • 15,515 ‚Äì 18,633 RMB per month (Plus 3,800 per Month Housing Allowance) 
  • Contracts are paid over 12months, August 1 through July 31. 
  • Regular retention bonuses 
  • One-year employmentcontracts are standard per the Chinese Government work visa policy. Candidates looking to teach multiple years are preferred.

  • 3,800 RMB/month housing allowance

Minimum Requirements: 

Education and TeachingExperience: 

  • Master‚Äôs degree in English writing or a closely related field from an accredited institution.Candidates must meet minimum standards for academic qualification consistent with HLC accreditation. 
  • Two years ofteaching experience in a related field (University or College level preferred) 

Visa: 

  • Successfulcandidates must apply for and obtain a work permit/visa for China.‚ÄØLNU-MSU will outline these processes, as well as assist in acquiring andpaying for these documents. 
  • Successful candidates will be subject to a criminal background check as per Chinesework visa requirements. 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Ph.D. (or other terminal degree) orABD from an accredited institution in English writing or a closely related field.
  • Five or more years of teachingexperience in a related field (University or College level preferred) 
  • Experience with students for whom English isa second language.
